Finding Ease Workshops

In partnership with the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA)

This fall I'm offering a series of four stand-alone mindfulness workshops at Wesbrook Community Centre. While each workshop explores a different theme, together they create a gentle journey toward greater awareness, resilience, and ease in daily life.

These workshops are suitable for both beginners and those with an established mindfulness practice. You are welcome to attend any individual workshop or participate in all four.

Workshop themes

  • September: Mindfulness and the Body

  • October: Meeting Emotions with Awareness

  • November: Working with Thoughts

  • December: Cultivating Kindness and Connection

Each workshop includes:

  • Guided mindfulness meditation

  • Gentle reflective practices

  • Practical tools for everyday life

  • Time for questions and discussion

A Note on Mindfulness Practice

The mindfulness offerings shared here are intended to support awareness, self-care, and well-being. They are educational in nature and are not a replacement for psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care.

Everyones experience with mindfulness is unique. You are encouraged to listen to your own inner wisdom and seek additional professional support when needed.

Course participant

I've studied Buddhism with Mitsuyo for several years. I've seen her facilitate small group discussions, make a presentation to a large audience and attended three mindfulness courses she has taught. I have great respect for her intellect, her insight and her sensitivity and compassion. I find her presence and her practice inspirational.
